The DEMOGRAPHIC EVOLUTION on our planet, from the appearance of man until 1750, it is characterized by a very slow demographic growth.

 

But, from 1750 to the present, it has been characterized by great demographic expansion, caused an agricultural, industrial and technological revolution, which has caused among other things the increase in life expectancy.

 

 

This population increase together with technological advances, causing a huge and CONTINUOUS INCREASE IN GLOBAL DEMAND FOR ENERGY.

 

We can see below a forecast made by the World Energy Council (WEC), where we can see that by about 2100, global energy consumption will almost triple from the current value. (Toe = Ton of Oil Equivalent)

And this is one of the most important problems that currently exist, which causes:

Deficit of energy sources, use of polluting energy sources, impacts on climate changes, diseases and reduction in life expectancy, poverty and hungry and wars for control of energy sources
